For certain moments in Boom Pam's show,
you can close your eyes and feel as if you're in an entirely different place.
This is not a specific place, it can be anywhere but it's got to be a happy place.
So happy it could explode. In Boom Pam's case the happiness is not a gun,
it's a massive cannon and it's hot. This band is currently doing the hottest,
most interesting and refreshing thing in the country. There isn't a moment's rest.
The beat (it would be an insult to call it stirring) is so dizzying that the arms
and legs threaten to detach themselves from the body.
This fine band exists for three years now. They are currently working on their
debut album. Now, after a short break, they return to the stage, beginning at Abraxas
at Tel Aviv. It's obvious to anyone following the band that they're going to make it big
time throughout the world (they've already performed at Germany and Switzerland).
They give a new meaning to the sentence "music is life". Boom Pam's music is the
life each and every one of us would want to live: rich, blissful, colorful and full of fine liquor..

Despite the crowdedness of the venue,
everyone starts moving, screaming, dancing, jumping and letting the body and heart go wild from the
very first note. Uri Kinrot (of the Balkan beat box alumni) and Uzi Feinerman, the two guitar players,
are super instrumentalists, playing together since high school. During the show they correspond with each other,
continuing each other's lines and playing in the most exciting virtuosity you can find around.
They make the enthusiastic crowd "wow". Yuval "Tuby" Zolotov sits with the tuba and wraps this
wonderful show with warmth. As much as this instrument seems impossible to play, "Tuby" does it easily,
burning everybodys insides. Dudu Kochav completes this illogical group on his small drum set,
getting the impossible out of it..

Boom Pam's music is Balkan,
gypsy, Greek, rock & roll, Jewish, Middle Eastern- there is no need to erase the unnecessary
but more styles can be added to the list. Although it might seem easy to get lost in this musical
roller coaster, it doesn't happen. Their music is so tight and precise it doesn't leave a chance
to get lost. Their music captures you immediately and makes you surrender to it without conditions.
The songs go by without pause; the show evolves quickly- beginning at the peak and climbing up from there.
The crowd, which is definitely the fifth member of the band, responds to every beat,
every jump and every dance move of the band members..
The hit "Boom Pam", with which they end the show, becomes a huge celebration.
Tuby literally sings his part on the tuba. Kinrot and Feinerman surround him,
making love with their guitars, juggling with the mythological "Inta Omri" and go flying back to Greece.
You can't stay indifferent..
בBoom Pam is one of ours and it fills the chest with great pride, it makes you smile with a mouth full of
white teeth and alcohol scented breath. The feeling after the show is like coming out from a super turbo
washing machine- after the final spin they spit you out into the cold air to dry off,
relax and dream sweet dreams of far off places..
